Issac Hayes was the bomb. Every time I listen to his music I hear a fresh sample. Same thing happened here with this track. The drums and sample chop went through a few different versions before this one and it was one of the last beats I wrote before Love Drive Commission was finished. I decided one Issac Hayes sample (Freedom Music) was enough for the album.
